Build the thing
worth a decade

We are building at the intersection of AI, robotics, care, and human-machine interaction. If you want to build embodied AI systems that matter in the real world, reach us at talent@cyanroot.com.

The stage you'll join

  • Shape the first-phase roadmap and product directly.
  • Validate the system in real care settings.
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders.
  • Get the system onto the care floor and prove the first tasks.
  • High autonomy, full ownership — problem to shipped result.

Early core members get long-term upside matched to the responsibility they take on.

Who you'll work with

  • The founding team
  • Core engineers
  • Frontline field partners
  • A high-bar AI research and engineering team

Open roles

Embodied AI Systems Engineer

Hangzhou · Full-time · Early core member

Mission

Take embodied AI from hypothesis to a system that runs in real care settings.

The first problem you'll tackle

In 6–12 months: ship a testable perceive–understand–act loop and prove at least one task end-to-end.

Core responsibilities

  • Own the system architecture and validation plan for the first tasks.
  • Wire together the robot platform, perception, models, tasks, and the eval loop.
  • Hunt failure modes in sim and the real world, and iterate fast.

What we look forNo one masters every area — we care more that you go deep in one and are willing to cover the rest of the system

  • Research or engineering background in embodied AI, robotics, or multimodal AI.
  • You turn research into testable, iterable prototypes.
  • Strong systems thinking, self-direction, and a knack for decomposing hard problems.
  • Deep in at least one of robotics, multimodal AI, task planning, simulation, or control — and willing to cover the rest.

Nice to have

  • VLA / VLM, AI agents, RL, simulation training, or sim-to-real.
  • Real-robot debugging, published papers, open source, or shipped prototypes.

Robotics Platform & Systems Integration Engineer

Hangzhou · Full-time · Early core member

Mission

Turn the robot platform into a field system that deploys, holds up, and keeps improving.

The first problem you'll tackle

In 6–12 months: spec and integrate the first prototype's hardware and sensors, then run deployment and reliability tests in the real world.

Core responsibilities

  • Spec and integrate the body and sensors into a stable, iterable platform.
  • Integrate and debug edge devices and comms.
  • Own on-site deployment and reliability testing in the real world.

What we look forNo one masters every area — we care more that you go deep in one and are willing to cover the rest of the system

  • You know robotics or smart-device hardware — bodies, sensors, edge compute, comms, and their real constraints.
  • Hands-on with hardware integration, device debugging, sensors, or field testing.
  • Strong engineering judgment, self-direction, and a knack for hard problems.

Nice to have

  • Linux device debugging, Jetson / industrial PCs, embedded, or edge-AI deployment.
  • Service robots, AGV / AMR, or real-robot debugging.
  • Maintenance, debugging, and solid engineering docs.

Degrees aren't the yardstick. What you've built is — complete systems, robotics projects, reproductions, working prototypes.
